Raised in a home where music was always encouraged, Kathleen has been singing informally since an early age. She studied classical guitar at the age of 11 years and played rhythm and bass guitar in high school jazz band. But while singing in many school and community choirs and listening to strong female vocal influences such as Etta James, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, Diana Krall and Susan Tedeschi, it became clear that Kathleen would find her passion as a soulful solo vocalist. |
